Jeffrey L. Dashevsky

Mr. Dashevsky has shown his dedication to the rights of consumers as a proud Trial Lawyer by representing families, children and individuals harmed by the negligence of others. As a prominent member of both the local and state Trial Lawyers Associations, he has solidified his commitment to continuing the fight for the preservation of our Civil Justice System. As an esteemed multi-term member of the House of Delegates of the State Bar Association, he has proven his unwavering desire to better the lives of every citizen.
Mr. Dashevsky is a graduate of The University of Maryland (B.S. degree, 1989), for which flagship institution he serves on the Executive Board of the local Alumni Association Network. Following college, he attended The Delaware Law School (J.D. degree, 1992). He then honed his courtroom skills by earning an advanced degree in Trial Advocacy from Temple University Law School (LL.M degree, 2001), the top-ranked program in the nation. Mr. Dashevsky has also attended Drexel University’s Mini-Medical School program, where he enhanced his understanding of anatomy, medicine, health and treatment to better enable him to advance his clients’ cause.
Mr. Dashevsky has since distinguished himself as a talented civil trial attorney. Not only has Mr. Dashevsky been credited with winning one of the largest jury verdicts in Philadelphia, from a compulsory arbitration appealed case, but his advocacy skills have also consistently earned him notable credit in states’ Jury Verdict Review & Analysis periodicals and legal publications. Early on in his career, he was inducted as a Lifetime Member of the National Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and has since been awarded the following distinctions: Best Lawyers In America, The National Trial Lawyers’ “Top 100 Trial Lawyers”, Distinguished Justice Advocates’, “Top 1% Attorneys In America”, National Association of Distinguished Counsel’s “The Nation’s Top One Percent”, Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, New Jersey Super Lawyers, Lawyers on the Fast Track, The First Judicial District of PA’s Role of Honor for Public Service Work, and The Philadelphia Bar Association’s Chancellor’s Award for Pro Bono Participation.
Mr. Dashevsky continuously strives to make a reality the ideal of “equal justice” as the hallmark of the American legal system by volunteering for appointments of pro bono matters and by supporting legal services and public interest organizations in the community. He served multiple years on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Phila.’s Volunteers for the Indigent Program (“Philly ‘V.I.P.’”) and was inducted into the inaugural Class of The First Judicial District of PA’s “Roll of Honor” recognition program, which he has since been awarded again for his exemplary public service work. Mr. Dashevsky has been humbled on multiple occasions as the recipient of the State Bar Association’s Chancellor’s Award for firm participation in pro bono matters.
After running a successful campaign, Mr. Dashevsky won election to the Philadelphia Bar Assoc.’s Board of Governors, where he served a multi-year term, followed by a re-appointed to the Board as the Liaison of the State Civil Litigation Section. His leadership in the Bar Assoc. is evident from his many appointments, including: Chair of the Compulsory Arb. Cmte.; Chair of the Bar Membership & Placement Cmte.; Chair of Caucus Five of the Standing Cmte. for the Nominating Cmte. of the Executive Board & Board of Governors; Secretary of the State Civil Litigation Section; Team Investigator for The Judicial Selection and Retention Cmte.; County Delegate representative in the PA Bar Assoc.’s House of Delegates; Member of the Professional Responsibility Cmte. and Secretary of the State Civil Litigation Section.
Expanding his leadership roles to newly initiated professional organizations, Mr. Dashevsky was a charter Member of: the Y.L.D. of the Andrew Hamilton Circle, the Y.L.D.’s2020 Cmte., the Phila. Trial Lawyers Assoc.’s Technology Cmte., the Phila. Bar Assoc.’s Website Cmte. and the very first member-at-large of the Phila. Bar Assoc.’s Audit Cmte., a charter member, Board of Director and charter Technology and Social Media Officer of the Louis D. Brandeis Law Society and the Brandeis Law Foundation.
Mr. Dashevsky is committed to the advancement of professional skills and knowledge and is frequently requested to be a course planner and/or faculty member for Supreme Court accredited, Continuing Legal Education seminars presented by The PA Bar Institute, Lorman Education Services, The Phila. and Penna. Trial Lawyers Assocs., The Dispute Resolution Institute, The Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel, The National Business Institute, The Camden Co., NJ Bar Assoc., as well as The American Psychological Institute. In addition, Mr. Dashevsky teaches high school Civics, through the Phila. Bar Assoc.’s A.C.E. Initiative Program.
Mr. Dashevsky has authored articles as well as has been interviewed for articles featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Philadelphia Legal Intelligencer, The Pennsylvania Law Weekly, The Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers News, The Philadelphia Bar Reporter and The Camden County, NJ Barrister. His many professional achievements have been recognized and noted in numerous local news periodicals, as well.
Mr. Dashevsky’s multi-jurisdictional practice in Plaintiff’s tort litigation has lead to his admissions to the United States Supreme Court, The U.S. Court of Appeals - Third Circuit, The U.S. District Courts for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and The U.S. District Courts For The State of New Jersey, as well as the Supreme Courts of PA and NJ. Mr. Dashevsky has been admitted pro hac vice to the Delaware State Bar and the South Carolina Bar.
