Edwin Dashevsky, is the Founder, President and Managing Partner of Dashevsky, Horwitz, Kuhn and Novello, P.C., and has been and continues to be a driving force in establishing the firm’s reputation as one of the best personal injury litigation firms in the region. He concentrates his practice representing injured persons in catastrophic injury and complex personal injury litigation, including medical/dental malpractice, motor vehicle/motorcycle accidents, fall accidents, wrongful death and survival claims, products liability, premises liability, liquor liability (dram shop claims) and workman’s compensation, throughout the courts in Pennsylvania and in other states and the federal courts.
Mr. Dashevsky graduated from Temple University, and received his Juris Doctor Degree from Duquesne University. He attended the Academy of Trial Advocacy and was certified as a Fellow of the Academy. Mr. Dashevsky is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the Federal Courts, including the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Dashevsky has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, signifying the highest rating in both professional competence and integrity.
Mr. Dashevsky has received the distinct honor of being named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer based on a survey of peers and industry leaders within the legal community. Only the top 5% of Pennsylvania lawyers receive this distinction. He has achieved numerous multi-million dollar recoveries and is a certified member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Mr. Dashevsky is an active member of the American Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Associations, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and Chairman of the Hearing Committee for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Mr. Dashevsky has also participated as a lecturer and course planner at Continuing Legal Education Seminars and serves on various Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and Philadelphia Bar Association Committees.
